Marina's appreciation for the arts began from a young age and continues today.

With more than ten years of experience working in fashion and entertainment, her background enhances her unique understanding of the legal matters pertaining to creative industries. Instead of worrying about legal problems that may arise, she wants to take care of them for you, so you can focus on sharing your talents with the world.

At The Warner Firm, Marina solves legal problems for creative entrepreneurs and innovative startups such as fashion designers, artists, lifestyle brands, performing artists, advertisers, songwriters, e-commerce companies, music publishers, bloggers, photographers, and filmmakers.  For her clients, she counsels on trademark and copyright registration and protection; drafts, advises on, and negotiates commercial contracts; lends her expertise to advising startup and growth companies on employment concerns; forms business entities and advises on corporate governance; and gives guidance on cyber compliance for websites, blogs, and social media content.

Outside of the office, Marina works with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and Election Protection, and is an active member of the New York City Bar Associations Fashion Law Committee.  In addition, she is a regular contributor to the blog for Brand Meets Creative, a branding consultancy.  In that capacity, she has written articles on advertising, copyright, trademark, and employment issues.  She has also written articles in other publications on copyright matters in digital media.

Before starting her practice, Marina served as a fellow for the Fashion Law Institute, the worlds first academic center devoted to law and the business of fashion.  While there, she organized clinics through which fashion law attorneys provided legal assistance to emerging designers, acted as a teaching assistant for the Institutes Summer Intensive Program, also known as "Fashion Law Bootcamp," and produced the Institutes second and third anniversary shows for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Marina loves cozying up with a good book, exploring other cultures through travel, and enjoying the sights and tastes of New York City with her adorable maltipoo, Rey.
